Bridge is a lot of fun. For variety, we play simpler variants like Pitch and 500.

I actually find 500 to be the most fun of all. I'm pretty good at it, if I do say so myself.

I'll just Yellow Juice because I'm heading out in 5 minutes and I don't want to wait through a discussion on 500 Rummy.

MRandall instead of voting for a known ready takes petty vengeance. I thought we raised him better than this.

Re: WW XXV: A Return to Letsgopensburgh
I wonder if 500 can be played via message board. NHR Games needs some variety beyond Wars and no name's stories which go nowhere.
I know bridge can be played by mail, so I would think it's possible.
Hmmm... A project, maybe.

Re: WW XXV: A Return to Letsgopensburgh
i could see that working, but you'd need a master dealer to run the deck, would invovle a lot of PM work.redwill wrote:I wonder if 500 can be played via message board. NHR Games needs some variety beyond Wars and no name's stories which go nowhere.

True. But it wouldn't have to go bang-bang-bang, so everyone should be able to fit it into his/her schedule. Impatience would definitely set in, though, as it does in Wars.relantel wrote:i could see that working, but you'd need a master dealer to run the deck, would invovle a lot of PM work.
