Precisely what I was thinking. I really hope it is... From what I recall from interviews, every touch point has an ending in the finale; that would be a great one for the Schwartz's

Also worth considering the "deer in the headlights" public defender. Lousy/inexperienced representation in a case like this would really be working against Skyler.

I love the turn the show took about midway through. As time passed I really want to know what has happened with each supporting character in the show, but we're deprived of that. We're forced into Walt's isolation. We know nothing other than what the newspaper clippings say and what Max Cherry tells Walt. Until Walt's venture to the outside world and his call to Flynn, we know virtually nothing. This adds another element to the finale, allowing us to witness the fallout of Walt's actions the same time he will.

when walt is about to leave the cabin the first time, he says "tomorrow, tomorrow." did something change his mind there? why do you think he ends up staying for multiple months?

just as simple as changing his mind?

My guess was because its f-in cold out and its obvious that he's barely hanging on anymore.

Landry is completely nuts. He has moments of seeming compassion, but no regard for life. When they were talking about the kid being killed, he looked proud. Then he kills the woman with no problem after feeding Jesse ice cream.

That's what I'm hoping for as well.

I can't see Walt shooting them up, but he isn't going to let them walk away unscathed either.

I was trying to come up with some sort of explanation but couldn't. I know that Gretchen and Walt were together and they were on some sort of vacation and Walt snapped and left the vacation. I think it was something to do about Gretchen being from a rich well to do family and Walt was not. She then obviously started dating Elliot at some point. I'm sure that the tension over this wasn't conducive to productivity at work. Walt constantly claims that he was pushed out of the company by those two, but who knows what really happened. In the end they bought his half of the company for $5,000. It's now worth over 2 billion.

The hockey game in last night's episode:

http://extramustard.si.com/2013/09/23/l ... from-1998/

My first thought was they just went with a game old enough that they didn't have to pay to use the broadcast, but with how this show has been since the very first episode, could it be some kind of foreshadowing. Big comeback in the third period for a win? Walt kills the Nazis, rescues and exonerates his family, makes up with Jesse, and overcomes cancer all in the final episode. Book it.

Yeah, perhaps some of that happens, but ultimately I think Walt ends up alone, dying/dead from the cancer.

A: Oh man, he’s a good actor. But it was easy because Vince Gilligan told us exactly what went down between the characters off screen: We were very much in love and we were to get married. And he came home and met my family, and I come from this really successful, wealthy family, and that knocks him on his side. He couldn’t deal with this inferiority he felt — this lack of connection to privilege. It made him terrified, and he literally just left me, and I was devastated. Walt is fighting his way out of going back to that emotional place, so he says, “F— you.”

That scene where Andrea was executed was one of the most chilling scenes I've ever seen on TV

Pretty sure he is taking it at this point. His family won't stop being harassed unless the feds get him. Kill Nazis, take ricin, get caught, die of "flu/cancer" in custody- family good to go. If he gets caught, he'll also get to claim his legacy on his way out.

Putting the ricin into a batch of meth would kill even more innocent people. He seems to be past that. There are also easier ways to kill yourself, so I don't think it's for him either. Except maybe to evade torture?

When Gretchen said Walter White is dead... its like a switch flipped. He was toying with being Heisenberg again, and that pushed him over the edge. Walt would stay in the cabin, but Heisenberg sends the cops on a chase and takes it all back...

Chances Walt kills everyone in Jack's crew, destroys all of Walter White's old ties (Schwartz's, Saul, Jesse), begins cooking as Heisenberg again, and finds a way to get money to his family? I think thats the ending I want... not sure how realistic it is.

They have a lot of storylines to conclude in 53 minutes....

- Walt's fate
- Skyler and the kids
- Jesse
- Lydia
- Todd and crew
- Marie
- Saul (though I am OK with them leaving his storyline end as it did)

I'd like to see the following happen...

- Todd and his Uncle take out Skyler and Marie because they know too much.
- Walt takes out Todd and his Uncle as revenge for killing his family and taking his money
- Lydia kills herself because she is too stressed out
- Jesse kills Walt

Saul story line is done. He's in Nebraska. Fitting end for him.

- Walt's fate
---Walt kills Nazis and his old buddies. Dies alone of cancer. Good. F you Walt...
- Skyler and the kids
---Skyler gets off on all charges. Moves on with her life.
- Jesse
---Suicide
- Lydia
---Arrested
- Todd and crew
---See: Walt's fate
- Marie
---Wears purple
