I've called the state with questions similar to this before and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service I received.Hockeynut! wrote:So, I bought my Jeep in June and transferred my plate over from my Kia. The registration on those plates runs out the end of this month and I still haven't received a renewal form/new registration form. What should I do? I checked the DMV website and there's a form to get a registration request sent out, but it requires the title number and I have a loan on the Jeep so I don't have the title. I'm so confused.

I'll try calling again. The first time I just got the automated system and it told me download a form from the website.

I had a mess where we had an application being processed for our Mario Lemieux Foundation plates, but traded in the one car on the application. They actually called us to help resolve the issue.Hockeynut! wrote:I'll try calling again. The first time I just got the automated system and it told me download a form from the website.

Re: Car thread
I actually just found the title # on the new registration card (which I totally forgot I had) in the Jeep. Still need to get the new registration filed, but it should be easy now.

Re: Car thread
The title number should be on your registration card. Just go online and renew it electronically.Hockeynut! wrote:So, I bought my Jeep in June and transferred my plate over from my Kia. As a TDI owner, this happens at least every other fill-up.

I really want an 03 Lancer Evo. But the insurance is higher for it than a Ferrari.

Re: Car thread
Modern sports cars like Porsches, Ferraris, and even Corvettes and Nissan Zs are rolling monuments to modern technology. They’re so technologically advanced, controlled, and competent that driving one at 140 mph doesn’t feel much different than doing 40 mph. A Morgan is the reverse; driving 40 mph would feel like you’re doing 140. You can keep under the speed limit and still have a blast.MRandall25 wrote:OK, Richard HammondShyster wrote:I really want a Morgan Three Wheeler.

I believe he wrecked a Morgan, yes? Although I don't think it was a Three Wheeler.MRandall25 wrote:I'd just get a Caterham...

If I won the lottery, I'd get both a Morgan and a Caterham.

Re: Car thread
In one of the new seasons (18 or 19 I think), the 3 of them tested open-roof track day cars. Clarkson had a KTM XBow, May drove a new Caterham, and Hammond showed up in the 3 wheeler.Shyster wrote:I believe he wrecked a Morgan, yes? T4 seems like a sketchy/unfortunate choice for a German car company.

Impressive feat here. Can imagine how fun it was.An Atlanta man shattered the record for fastest drive from New York City to Los Angeles last Saturday by making the transcontinental trip in 28 hours 50 minutes.

Re: Car thread
To pull that off you need scouts several miles ahead and the car was outfitted with all means of radar detectors and jammers. They also add fuel cells in the trunk, and use bedpans.Firebird wrote:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... olice.html

This is how I'd like to drive the turnpike from Pittsburgh to Philly in 2.5-3 hours.

should've went with a diesel VW. 2- 22 gallon fuel cells and the stock tank and he could probably shoot for 2800 miles non stop for fuel.Large tanks: In order to cut down on fuel stops, Bolian installed two 22-gallon addition gas tanks that let him drive 800 miles straight--with the help of bedpans
