if the other person from our IT dept wasn't out of office tomorrow, I'd be tempted to burn a vacation day.

Maybe they'll have us work from home by afternoon.

Driving from Charlotte to Alexandria tomorrow afternoon. Looks like I will be just southeast of the ice and snow.

I need to balance that with allowing enough time to get through thanksgiig traffic to the Pens game. I figure if i leave at like 11, i get up to the fringes of the affected area around noon, and by the time i get closer into the storm area, its mid day so road crews plus sun have taken care of things.

As long as you realize we'll probably get half the snow they predict.

We've already gotten a pretty solid covering here, and I'm not entirely sure it wasn't supposed to start until tomorrow.

As long as my girlfriend realizes that. If it were up to me id leave MD at about 10:30 tomorrow night and drive overnight when hopefully fewer people are on the road.

True in Pittsburgh but the likes of McHenry MD and Farmington PA will have 6" no doubt.

WPXI people said it will start soon. However, they don't know what the hell is going to happen tomorrow. Ice west of the city. Rain south. Hurricane to the north while sunny at 7 Springs.

Had a couple inches on the cars this morning. Roads were clear though. Doubt we will get as much as they say even over the next 24 hours or so. I'm about 15 miles north of the city.

Aside from my normally 15 minute commute being 35 minutes, I didn't have much issue with the drive this morning.

One inch of snow on the ground, 4 accidents on the highway. It's Maine, you'd think we'd be past this by now.

Got about 2 inches, occassional wet heavy snow here.

Aren't we supposed to get the bulk of the storm tonight?
