Being that its around the halfway point of the season, i'm going through my list of rookies everyone has. TehHammer has a decent chance of not having any players with rookie eligibility after this season.
I probably place the least emphasis on rookies. How many rookie-eligible players make a long-term impact on a team? Very few. I find that they lose rookie-eligibility at a stage in their career that doesn't justify displacing a regular keeper for them -- at least for a perennial contender like me. . Indeed, I can only think of 2 rookies I have on my team (Atkinson and Granlund).
Edit: Apparently, Killorn is a rookie and he has been on my roster.
Briefly looking around the league, thus not including the several that I have. A lot.
That surprises me. Like who? I'm curious how many people drafted as rookies end up being kept as regular keepers without ever leaving the team that drafted them. I have one, Jimmy Howard, and I grabbed him in year 1 in the regular draft when he was a 1B goalie behind Osgood. So, I guess excluded from that list should be players drafted in the year-one regular draft.
Jeff Skinner has 17 goals in his last 17 games. He's looking to have a good shot at being a point a game this year. I feel pretty good about that pickup. Especially since he was my 3rd pick in the draft this year.
Here is a question...I didn't draft, but picked up Fredrick Anderson, who played in his first NHL games this year (12, to be exact). He just got sent back down to the minors. Am I able to drop him and still retain his rights (since he was a rookie this year), or no because I didnt draft him?
Looks like 12-0-2. I was thinking that had only tied you, but I guess I tied Pitts in Week 1 as well.
Of course, you add 3 extra wins after I go to sleep. I thought I was going to gain a little ground. Unreal.
Haha, it was only two actually.
I am feeling the same way, though. Every week I think I will gain some separation you are winning by equally large margins. I think we have the first round byes sewn up, though.

I think the winners of each division historically receive the byes, but I'm not sure.
