Just saw there's a winter storm warning for Pittsburgh Tuesday night into Wednesday late morning. Rain/sleet/snow.

1/4 inch of ice to start, and then possibly 6 inches of snow.

I'm working from home Wednesday. Snow isn't the issue. Ice is.

Forecast was initially for about an inch of rain. An inch of rain usually translates into 8-ish inches of snow.

Got at least 6 inches of wet heavy snow that was an absolute joy to shovel.

Measured 8.3" here, and yes, it sucked. Took about an hour and a half to shovel the driveway.

I cannot remember the last time they canceled a Winter Storm Warning, only to immediately post a Winter Storm Watch for the next one. Projected for another 4-6" here + ice Tuesday night into Wed.

Honestly, I'd rather have a foot of snow instead of the icy/sleety crap we're going to get.
