No love for the short shorties? :)

While I am, admittedly, not in any place to be picky, I do like the petite women.

Pretty much. You pay insane amounts of money to go to pool bars. Seriously, it's almost cheaper to go to cancun when you figure in drink prices ($5 PBR pounders were cheapest thing I found)

That would be a blast.
My friends are going for Christmas in July. 3 days at a price tag of $475 a person for a house rental alone. No thanks, I'll go to Vegas for that much. PIB didn't impress me that much
I've never been, but its been thrown out as an option for the bachelor party we're planning. Why didn't you like PIB that much?

Thats a fair theroetical point regarding the cost of beers at bachelor parties.

Kenny the kangaroo isnt a penny pincher when it comes to a lot of things, but for bachelor parties the beer should flow freely without worries of cost.

Yeah, it's one thing if you're only buying yourself beers. But at bachelor parties you're often buying for two or more.

Just don't go for Xmas in July. Everything is probably 50 percent more expensive. It's their signature weekend. It's still fun and packed most other weekends, but too expensive mid July.

When I went, we stayed in Port Clinton and took the shuttle over but we were only there for one day. We saved a pile on the hotel but the shuttle was like $20-25 i think, so that would cut into your savings if you stay for a few days.

Yeah that is an option but you'd probably need a DD

The shuttle is a ferry that takes you out to the island.

We did the same thing, stayed in Port Clinton, boozed at the townhouse we rented (which was very affordable) during the day while f'ing around in the lake, got showered up, got on the ferry, went out to the island and continued to party late into the night.

The only thing is, I think the last ferry leaves around 2am, so if you miss it, you are sleeping in the woods that night.

Oh you're close enough to walk to the ferry? I didn't realize that. Where I thought you were was on that main highway to the lake.

Yeah, we were right along the coast of the lake and just walked over to the ferry station.

What is the story behind Christmas in July? Too cold to have fun in the water in December, kind of thing?
