Being from Slippery Rock, I can't really give anyone else any crap about what their towns are named. That said, as a kid I always enjoyed driving through the towns of Horseheads and Painted Post on the way to visit relatives in Binghamton, NY.shafnutz05 wrote:
Always love to see that wonderful old thread brought up. Which, by the way, I highly recommend reading through on a Friday where you are bored at work.
Anyways, Intercourse is probably my favorite town in Amish Country, just 10 minutes up the road. A lot of cool shops there and whatnot.
There are actually two small towns in Jefferson County called "Panic" and "Desire" that aren't far from each other too.

hah, made it all the way back to my house and one room from my DVR without getting that game spoiled. Brilliant. Jokes on me, hockey forum!
As for pet rescues, I fully agree there should be a selection process. But having requirements like "one adult will be home with the animal at all times" makes it seem like they're not really focused on placing animals in suitable homes, but rather perfect homes.
My $10 dog ended up being a pit bull/JRT mix which has opened my eyes to a myriad of dog ownership issues. Still glad I adopted from a kill shelter instead of Russel Rescue who wouldn't give us a callback because we're two adults with a fenced in yard but gainfully employed. I admire the work that redwill and others do. My wife and I want to foster once we're in the position to do so.

I agree. The shelters do great work. Their requirements can be a bit strict but for good reason, too.

Post count is a status symbol here. Based on yours, you are an idiot who doesn't know anything while I am all knowing and cool.Factorial wrote:Who pays attention to their post count?

the remarkable thing about macs and nans post count is neither of them really gets into a lot of arguements with other people. usually thats how a post count grows exponentially.

Re: KennyTheKangaroo's Thread of Randomness
Making dinner at home tonight with the wife for Valentines Day. Sent her flowers at work which she yelled at me for then thanked me. I know certain things even when she tells me not to do it, that she likes when I do it anyways haha, and flowers at work are one of those things. Thankfully she likes Gerbera Daisies more than roses, so its not even that expensive. Will lounge around after dinner and work through back log of tv shows on DVR. Probably gonna go see the Lego Movie in the morning after we get up at 7:30am to watch US vs Russia.
can't really complain.

I don't think that changes. My most active thread is still listed as "Obama-Biden vs McCain-Palin" and that thread is long gone.count2infinity wrote:none... they (the mod team) likely just stashed it away with the PDT in a hidden forum.Mr. Colby wrote:how many posts did people lose from JTOR
