Re: ***World Warz II Game Thread***
I would actually be fine with a dodint vote. It seemed like the Day 1 bandwagon got sidetracked awful quickly.
FWIW, Benny Fitz, CBear, and Crankshaft all quickly jumped on the Relantel vote. Granted, they could have just as easily voted for me, but I get suspcious sometimes when Day 1 random.org votes get buried.

Good point. Benny asked for the random.org and then voted a different way.Troy Loney wrote:unsure why a day one bandwagon didn't take place.
And yet he started the vote on rel with no real tell. In fact, the reason he gave was clearly wrong - rel didn't follow the day 1 bandwagon.Benny Fitz wrote:im guess i mean more historically quiet.. that's why i didnt want to do the list myself. i dont know who the coasters are these days...Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:The first day phrase just started less than 2 hours ago and you want to start killing quiet players?Benny Fitz wrote:someone want to do a random.org list of quiet players and through a name out there? I'd do it but i've been out of the game for so long that i dont know the participants as well as i once did, nor do i want to hurt anyones feelings...
and unless i see something telling, i'm ok will letting stronger/more talkative players through to later rounds. if for nothing else, then at least for entertainment purposes. its like killing the best actors and being left with extras.

Hmm, it's hard to believe that you snagged a red with the random post...seems more likely that people would just be hesitant to vote out a new player two times in a row.shafnutz05 wrote:I would actually be fine with a dodint vote. It seemed like the Day 1 bandwagon got sidetracked awful quickly.

I'm just curious to get people the justify what they were doing. I was hesitant to immediately put a vote out there on dodint (because of voting new players out right away).

I didn't like going away from the random vote, I said as much. However rel is the one that started that movement, iirc, and I'm happy that he did. We have some good info once a non blue dies

Re: ***World Warz II Game Thread***
how could my 'reason' for voting a certain way be wrong? Rel didnt offer any explaination when he voted. Nor did he wait to hear from his intended suspect. just placed his vote and left it there. to me, that's atypcal rel on day 1. he's usually the last to place a vote, once he's sorted and weighed all the evidence. AND, when he does jump on a vote he is usually red in my experience.. so that was an easy vote for me.
the random.org i requested was of quiet players, however shaf included everyone.

Rel didn't support the bandwagon, he voted for the person that started it. And he didn't 'jump on' a vote, he started the vote on shaf.Benny Fitz wrote:Rel voting for shad seems odd, he used to be the guy that never supported early day 1 bandwagons...

Rel went against the random.org vote with no reasoning. It definitely deserved some questioning, and voting him off wasn't entirely unjustified to see if there was any reasoning behind switching the vote.

I was/am suspicious of shaf's random and assumed that was rel's reason for voting for him.

I'm actually going to go with this vote. On the oft-chance that the random.org snagged a red, I think this will tell us a TON about who else might be red.
Put it this way. I think we have the most to gain with a Dodint vote, especially if he turns up red. I don't think the other votes really would tell us much.

i dont know why we're missing each other on this but i'll put it another way....youre doing more defeding of rel's position than rel did. rel's vote came less than 10 mins after shafs list. and yes there were two votes at the time, but i'd hardly call that a bandwagon. it seemed premature and without explaination. not too far fetched for a day 1 vote. i think you should question those who jumped on after me...Willie Kool wrote:Rel didn't support the bandwagon, he voted for the person that started it. Do the votes kind of carry over from previous games? From either spite for another player, or maybe they had similar roles but under a different game title and you can follow the other player's line of bluffing or reasoning?

Nothing carries over from one game to another. If you play long enough you might be able to read a specific posters tendencies.BigMcK wrote:Do the votes kind of carry over from previous games? Hard to get a feeling, been stuck trying to read on the phone all day. Benny doesn't really give me a red vibe, but he was doing a lot of summary style posting. The Idiot's Guide to Warz book says that's a red trick. Combine that with some of the other suspicions mentioned and I'm willing to give the idea a chance
