Also if you didn't save Benny, he'd be gone. So last phase you didn't wanna kill someone just for the heck of it, and now have no problem voting off dodint just to get some info?

canaan was voting for SDD last day phase. he could have very well picked SDD last night to confirm his suspicions. based on the write-up he died with a note that would have helped our cause. occam's razor.
