A lot of one suit is a good hand.

As for the spades, i had the K,Q,9. In my head, I was only going to lose the one diamond trick, when the relantel was able to hold the Ace long enough to take that trick I thought i was doomed. But as I had expected, you guys were dumping spades so that the 9 would be good by the end. I was surprised that you dumped spades even after i trumped both clubs and hearts.

Good point. It was my mistake to dump the 10S instead of the hearts and clubs I had. They were higher than my 10S, but I should have kept it. Oh, well, one never stops learning.

It's important to realize what you DON'T have. Are you or can you get void (none of a suit) via the widow? Troy was able to be void in hearts and clubs from the beginning and so nullified our powerful hearts and clubs by being able to trump them with low diamonds.
