No, not based on that, but I realize my post doesn't really make sense. Red or green, still the same random chance.relantel wrote:Based on the one time dagny was red and targeted herself with a protect in a game sometime in 2010?MWB wrote:Dagny is probably bad. Re: *** Wars of Beleriand Game Thread ***
Oh, it was a bad day for the people of Beleriand.
For issuing forth from the Gates of Angband came Glaurung, Father of Dragons. Fire and foul smoke surrounded him and he ravaged the land.
The people of Beleriand hemmed him around and fired their arrows at him, to no avail, for his armor was too thick. None could approach him because of his fire.
Ah, but one bold warrior approached Glaurung with stealth.
He was Turin, son of Hurin. Turambar, Master of Doom. The Mormegil, Black Sword of Nargothrond.
Glaurung's Bane.
Wearing his Dread Helm of Dor-lomin and wielding his black sword Anglachel, Turambar darted in and attacked Glaurung in his belly. He thrust Anglachel into Glaurung even to the hilts.
Black blood gushed forth from Glaurung and he was no more. He died with hate in his eyes and a curse upon the House of Hurin.

Actually, IMO, it makes even more sense now that we know canaan was red.MWB wrote:No, not based on that, but I realize my post doesn't really make sense. So we are to believe that out of 21 players on Night 1 the reds went after Dagny, but she just happened to be protected, and also somehow knew canaan was red?dagny wrote:Yeah, kill canaan. Trust me. I already know I won't last long, as evidenced by the first night attack on me. Take him out.

Those who have played warz games I've participated in already know how quick players like to try and take the mod out. I actually took a break from the games because it became more about trying to lynch/vig the mod, regardless of the value of my role, rather than just trying to win.

Is "the mod" a role?dagny wrote::lol: It's not a leap, they always come after me first, red, blue, green, doesn't matter. Haven't you noticed at least 2 players who signed up JUST to try and kill me in the game? :lol:Willie Kool wrote:

For clarity's sake, (board moderator)it's only a role in LGPland.

Fine, but you've only addressed one of several problems I have with what went down. I don't know of any roles that would allow you to be protected (assuming you protected yourself rather than it being another coincidence - a 'random' protect) and see in the same night. You sure sounded positive canaan was red.dagny wrote:Willie Kool wrote:

Re: *** Wars of Beleriand Game Thread ***
You might be reading that wrong, Willie. I didn't read what you read.
I read "yes kill Canaan" and "trust me. Blah blah blah" as two separate thoughts.
The "trust me", in how I read it, was directed at her knowing people were gunning for her.

The 'Take him out.' at the end kind of ties it all together, though.

Do you have some inside info you'd like to share with us on what the RP abilities are in this game?
You have a problem with me being protected the first night, even though it's known I wear a bullseye when I play these games?
You have a problem that I led us to lynch a bad guy?
You have a problem that I seemed certain he was red?
Methinks he doth protest too much....

And now that I think about it, your vote for him looks a little odd as well. Did you really need to add that extra clarifying post after your vote?
