I knew there had to be a reason that name wasn't on my sheet. That would explain it.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
wow, I figured at 145 games no way he was a rookie, but I guess he conveniently stopped right at 64 games prior to last year.
Anyway, fixed.

Lol, he did...64 games for the Islanders over 2 seasons, then 81 for the Wild (plus 13 playoff games).

Well, that makes this pick much easier. Not sure how that took so long.

Beveridge -- you took Zajac with my pick -- that is exactly who I was going to take there! Weird. Was hoping he might fall to my next pick.

I almost let him go cause I had another defender in mind, but I've been also eyeballing him for about 3 rounds now and decided I needed forward depth more.

My last pick was between him and Jenner. Jenner was a draftee of mine and I wanted him back for one more season to see what happens.Beveridge wrote:Pitts wrote:Beveridge -- you took Zajac with my pick -- that is exactly who I was going to take there! Weird. Was hoping he might fall to my next pick.

I have 24 players and have taken two rookies. that means that I have one more pick right?

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
Question:
I had 10 Keepers and 1 Rookie Keepers so I had 11 "non-waiver" players on my team.
Need to have 25 so 14 players.
I've taken 2 rookies so I will draft 16 rounds worth of players (end in 15 cause I had 2 picks in one round)
Do I have an option to say I'll stop at 23 "non-waiver" players cause I have 2 farm players that I want to have in the active roster?
Do I have the option of drafting the full 25 and then making cuts when I want to "call-up" a player?

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
I think the draft should end at 15 rounds. If you have roster spots available, this should be taken to waivers in reverse draft orderTroy Loney wrote:I have 24 players and have taken two rookies. that means that I have one more pick right?

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
Ignoring trades, 15 rounds at the worst would fill 24 of 25 spots for teams who made the playoffs the previous year. Everyone else would fill their roster by the 15th round or sooner.
