Good good....let the hate flow. In all honesty though this thread has made a dull Thursday night much more fun, and I know a lot of you still like this band. And if you dont...your loss. Just makes it easier for me to get tickets the next time they come and sellout CEC. But thanks for the entertainment.

I wasn't crazy about them. Then I went to see them at the arena in 2006 and witnessed one heck of a concert. Next day went out and bought the REARVIEW MIRROR CD and it still gets heavy play.

I like FC but not what little of PJ I have ever heard. When they came out they were riding the Nirvana grunge wagon but were softer and that vocal style was taken on by all those crappy bands noted above.

Funny thing is all the rad frat boys took on that Eddie Vetter hair cut in the early 90's.

I've seen PJ once. It was the last show on the tour and they were playing with Soul Asylum (I think...the tickets were free...). I've never been a PJ fan but I think their radio stuff is alright. The show was 15 minutes late in starting when Vedder came out and announced to the crowd that Soul Asylum was not going to play. It was the 4th show in 4 nights at the very end of the tour, vedder was getting sick, and the rest of the band was exhausted. They had to make up a date from earlier in the summer or something. Vedder said that PJ was going to cancel too but they saw that the pavilion was packed and they didn't want to disappoint all those fans so they were going to play anyway. They played and I have a ton of respect for them for doing that.

That being said...most of their music is not very good IMHO. But it's music...everyone has an opinion...
