Im just courious if this is meant to bother me or not. Honestly....watching everyone discuss PJ good or bad is much better than the crap we usually talk about.

I think Seinfeld, South Park, Billy Joel, REM, and the NBA suck. It doesn't mean that to some people it/they/he does not.

Well, four of those five things are the actual suck. So that's a pretty good strike rate.

I get defensive about people saying this band/artist sucks because I'm a musician. Even though (evenflow?) most bands now a days make it because they have tons of friends and are average musicians doesn't change the fact that they have some talent.

The worst player in the NHL is leagues better than anyone on this board. He sucks compared to Crosby but he's a hockey legend compared to me.

Pearl Jam is not the best band ever. They are not the worst band ever. The original thread title is more apt than the "PJ sucks" argument.

Horrible comparison. I know people that are undoubtedly better than famous musicians. You could play guitar for green day for example.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I am a better guitar player than C.C. Deville. Put together!

This guy, with his love of music had the courage to try something new and then do it in front of a club full of paying patrons.

Honestly, I would rather play in front of a million people than in a club with under 100. Not because the former indicates success, but because the latter means that you can see everyone. And they are watching. Closely. So much more pressure in front of a small crowd.

I played the 9:30 club in front of about 200 people. I couldn't imagine playing a stadium or festival.

Biggest crowd I ever played in front of was about 1,500. I was more nervous at open mic night.

I played lead guitar for my high school's talent show in front of maybe 200 people. Keep in mind that I had never played the guitar 2 months before this and I haven't played since because I never bought my own.

I really can't stand him. Does a ton of impressions and is awful. He was on the ACS a couple times and said he even let's his wife The Shell of Nikki Cox help him write bits. Neither of them is particularly funny.

I'm not sure that I have ever known anyone who was *really* into this particular band (until now) but it's apparent that the die hards take it very seriously.

Pearl Jam played the album No Code front to back tonight in Moline Illinois. If any of you knew how rare and special that was...you would be equally as excited as I am.
