Things Still up in the air:
Cheesesteak
-filled your roster, because of rookies, 2 short. If you want me to put any of your rookies on the team, let me know.
Kraftster
-Filled last two slots with Bennett and Ekblad, let me know if you need a change
Malka
-2 short
And everyone should be up. I started the season, skip ahead to tuesday if your picks don't show up and let me know if anythign needs corrected or changed.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
I'd prefer to have Nyquist, rookie keeper, over Sutter, last round pick. Should I do it or do we prefer one of the commissioners to do all preseason moves?

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League

Edit: waivers are off. I think everyone can make their own moves.

I'd like to take a second to thank Josh Harding. Not only for kicking a wall and getting hurt, but for getting suspended as a result, therefore making him ineligible for the IR, even though he is out for 2-3 months. Awesome dude, just awesome.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
Eh...id have no problem with having you drop him until he starts practicing again or whatever if other people dont mind. Thats a pretty weak situation.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
That would be awesome, but I would be totally fine with whatever people decided. The worst part is that it happened when I was at the beach, so I wasn't following everything as closely as I normally do. Sitting at the beach the one day, glass of fireball on ice, and I decided to google Josh Harding to see how he was doing in camp (since he had a good chance to be there starter). Find out about the injury, only to see that Bryz was just taken in the draft.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
I think we've been pretty strict in restricting IR eligibility to Yahoo's definition: ask Kraftster.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
Didnt kraftster complain about people with wear and tear injuries not going on the DL in september?

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
Exactly. He wanted to expand IR definition, I thought, and the league said no.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
I think thats a long reach from harding's situation. Hes legitimately injured long term. He doesn't have a bruised thumb.

Re: LGP Fantasy Hockey Keeper League
I was just advocating for the use of IR+ that Yahoo! offers--not specifically to capture little niggling injuries but to capture the month long "DTD" type of injuries. Then you said this:
so it became not viable.Idoit40fans wrote:I would go out of my way to abuse it. Based on that, i'm sure others would as well.

My goalies have given up 7 goals combined in the first period tonight. That's good.
