MRandall25 - Police Chief - Angel - You may protect 1 player every night. You also get 1 canister of tear gas, which will disperse a crowd (day vote save - you can save any one player ONE time only) if used before the final vote is cast.
SDD - Surveillance / Communications Tech - Seer - You may investigate 1 player every night. If you find a fellow green you may communicate via PM
redwill - SWAT sniper - Vig - You get a bullet every other night starting Night 1. You can save 1 bullet for a total of 2 in your possession, but can only use 1 per night. Be careful who you shoot, as the citizens won't be happy if you start shooting them.
Gaucho, MWB, dodint - RIOTERS - The protesters gathering in town give you all the cover you need, so you whip up a few Molotovs and hit the streets. Your goal is to incite chaos, burn and loot and eliminate the Police - your standard red stuff. You have a kill every night and 1 recruit, but be careful with your recruit. If you try to recruit a certain member of the Police, you will likely be arrested.
ulf - Anarchist - You don't really care why people are rioting, you just want to see the Police eliminated and watch Ferguson burn. You have several abilities - 1 see (night), 1 save (day or night), 1 kill (day or night). You may only use 1 ability per phase. You win if the Rioters win or if you survive to the end.
Doc - KKK Member - As a racist resident of St. Louis County, you've had enough of these damn protesters. You grab your hood, robe and shotgun, hop in your pickup, and head to town. You have the ability to intimidate (roleblock) one player every night, starting Night 1. You win if the Police win or if you survive to the end.
Citizens - You are a citizen of Ferguson. Your goal is to band together with your fellow citizens to stop the violence that has gripped your city. Despite your distrust of the Police, it seems that working with them against the Rioters is the best way to do that.
It came down to a coinflip, really. Had we done anything but try and recruit redwill that night it would've ended differently. The first 3/4ths of the game was played so well, but was undone because the village greens all had to out themselves which is okay I guess but makes it virtually impossible for the reds to do anything at that point. Might've been easier if we had gotten a green RP early instead of all the citizens.
* At the end of Night 4 all remaining citizens are PM'd:
"Shaf's killing has you upset. You were already uneasy working with the police. You want answers."
Ahh, now I get why you people freaked out over my shafnutz shot.
Kind of an advantage for the citizens, not that it would have mattered. We were cornered by how many people were outed.

If there had been one more citizen killed by the sniper, or if SDD had seen Doc and accepted his help, the citizens would have become realigned with the rioters, and the police would have been the bad guys.

So there was nothing going on between CBear and Crankshaft? CBear dropped what I thought was a hint that they were some sort of masons.
That's honestly the only reason I shot Crankshaft, just to see. Otherwise I would have held the Night 7 bullet to see what fell out the next day.
I guess it was all of the citizens, but there were really only the two of them plus columbia. Cbear referenced me not reacting to cranks post about shaf, making him think I wasn't a citizen.
