To be honest, I didn't get to follow along on this game as much as I would have liked. Touchy subject, solid group playing and first time out for a new Mod.
Willie Kool, thanks for the invite. Great job keeping the game on-track through all of the turns.
Had we done anything but try and recruit redwill that night it would've ended differently. The first 3/4ths of the game was played so well, but was undone because the village greens all had to out themselves which is okay I guess but makes it virtually impossible for the reds to do anything at that point. Might've been easier if we had gotten a green RP early instead of all the citizens.
Killing all the citizens off definitely killed your chances. At one point I thought the rioters were going to sweep. You guys were all way under the radar, but once everyone was out, you were more or less exposed. I could only see one or two paths to a win for the reds at that point, and trying to recruit the sniper sure wasn't one of them.
be careful with your recruit. If you try to recruit a certain member of the Police, you will likely be arrested.
I actually adjusted the % chance to see if redwill would arrest Gaucho during the recruit attempt down from 80% (1-16 on 1d20) to 50% (1-10). I rolled a 14.
If there had been one more citizen killed by the sniper, or if SDD had seen Doc and accepted his help, the citizens would have become realigned with the rioters, and the police would have been the bad guys.
Wow, great idea. Just great.
But, man, if I would have known that I surely would have played more conservatively and probably not shot dodint.
Be careful who you shoot, as the citizens won't be happy if you start shooting them.
was all the warning I could give you without revealing my plan.

So there was nothing going on between CBear and Crankshaft? CBear dropped what I thought was a hint that they were some sort of masons.
That's honestly the only reason I shot Crankshaft, just to see. Otherwise I would have held the Night 7 bullet to see what fell out the next day.
Since they both got the same 'mad about shaf' PM, they knew from each others reaction in the game that they both had to be blue.

Probably, but it was kind of my fault for not giving them a reminder not to share anything from that PM. In fact I was very ambiguous when they PM'd me back wanting to know what the PM meant. After it all came out, Crank and CBear both PM'd me, asking if they'd gone too far and if I should modkill them.
I did want to make a little bit of a social statement with the game, thus the twist of the citizens turning on the police if they killed 2 or more citizens or if they joined forces with the KKK. The idea was that the perception of who's 'good' or 'bad' can change, and depends very much on the circumstances you find yourself in.

Just kidding, of course. I have no problem with what they did.
Great game WK, loved the independents! Good premise, and liked the vig actions. Good stuff man, thanks for modding!
Glad you ended up making me white instead of green
Thanks Doc. The KKK just had to be white. You still won.
I was hoping SDD would see you. You would have offered your roleblocking help to the police. If he accepted AND redwill killed at least one citizen, you would have become a baddie - along with the police.
The night I investigated Gaucho, I was between him and dodint. I wasn't able to talk with redwill at that point and got lucky with choosing Gaucho.
I thought you'd go for Dodint. We also thought redwill wouldn't be able to shoot.
Me too. Great call, SDD. I knew the game was over as soon as I got the PM. At that point I considered having MWB steal MRandall's tear gas (mostly because I was kinda pissed off he didn't use it), but didn't think one day save would change the outcome.
