Relantel walked around the ballroom of Hill House to have a look around. It was not only empty but it was the only room he had been. For some reason he just couldn't remember what he had seen in there already. He wasn't able to hear the footsteps creeping up behind him with this:

was bludgeoned with a lead pipe.

Meanwhile, Mr. Green was checking around the study for some clues. Crankshaft's body still lay on the floor. Beside it was something strange. He picked it up.

"My God! I know who did it!"

Unfortunately he was too distracted by this revelation and he didn't see the mysterious figure behind him.

Really don't get why the vig would take a shot so early. Why waste a shot with nothing to go on? This seems to happen more and more.
