It might depend on the place. Years ago, I was talking to a bartender in the Sharp Edge. He said they usually have a tap devoted to Coors Light because so many yinzers would ask for it, but they charged something outrageous per glass in order to "punish" those people for ordering Coors Light in a beer bar that literally has more than a hundred better draft and bottled beers you could be drinking. That's an attitude I can get behind. You wouldn't order Franzia in a wine bar.

I always drink the mystery beer at Sharp Edge during non happy hour times, unless there is something on draft that I'm really interested in having.

I thought that was awesome and always do this as well when I go. The first time, I thought that the bartender knew what it was, so I took a couple sips and tried to guess and was surprised when she said "I have no clue what it is either..."

Anyone tried this place?

The owners of It's Doggin It (from India) say this is the best Indian food in Pittsburgh.

It's in a strip mall in Monroeville. basically a Troy Loney nightmare.

I believe that's called saag. I think I'd go for the biryani, preferably with lamb. They named the restaurant after it, after all.

Interesting random trivia: While there are multiple claims for its origin, the recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala was likely created in the United Kingdom, not India.

I ate there once for the lunch buffet, did not care for it at all. The food was cold, and the selection was very small. Not a fan and I have never seen anyone in there.

Went to Palazzo down by the Meadows last night. Total hidden gem. Their chicken Romano was to die for. Got stuffed banana peppers too that were awesome, as was the pecan ball for desert.
