He's become unlistenable, which is a shame because I've always liked Starkey since his days hosting a weekend show on 1250.PghSkins wrote:While I certainly harbor no personal ill will against him and wish no harm upon him or his family, as a broadcaster Mr. Mueller can go and leap into the nearby body of water of his choosing.Dickie Dunn wrote:I listened for like 5 minutes on the way home and heard Mueller get extremely defensive when a caller gave him a hard time about his new-found contrarian view point on everything (Bettis isn't a hall of famer, Carroll didn't make a stupid call, deflate gate meant absolutely nothing to him). Over the past two months whatever the popular opinion is Mueller immediately goes to the opposite. He's like a mini-Fillipponi.DudeMan2766 wrote:I was listening to Mueller and Starkey on the way home and they were discussing the super bowl commercials. Mueller went on a rant about the Budweiser ad that made fun of craft beer snobs. He seemed legitimately offended. lol. They even moved on and he revisited the topic and went on a second rant.

Mueller is ok as is Starkey. I can do without Zeise and the 10am-2pm show. Right now Dan Kingerski, Tab Douglas, Mike Kearney, and Chris Mack are my favs. I also wish John Philips would do shows again. But...I kinda feel like a skipping cd, complaining about the same ole crap.
Ill stick with...
Mark Madden
Jay Mohr Sports
Ben Maller
And whomever is on when I fall asleep.

My favorite host on The Fan is, and will probably forever be, Tab Douglas. Really wish he would get a show during the week. Maybe he doesn't want one.FreeCandy44 wrote:Mueller is ok as is Starkey. The article was poorly written click bait. Also including an inside joke at Pat Bostick for consuming a lot of caffeine. HAR HAR HAR

Turn on fan for background noise as I try to fall asleep. Whine ass on here now cites both Corsi and Fenwick to downplay Lapierre deal. Good day, sir.

I agree about Tab. Enjoy running errands on the weekends and listening to him. Knowledgeable, good topics, and has never made me want to punch him in the face like so many others in the Pgh media.Dickie Dunn wrote:My favorite host on The Fan is, and will probably forever be, Tab Douglas. Thanks for the heads up. Will avoid 93.7 at all costs on the way home. How could anyone think putting Rossi on the radio was a good idea?FreeCandy44 wrote:Starkey and Rossi 2-6 today and Rossi is spouting his usual crap.

This same station employees a meathead like Dunlap. Are you really shocked they would put Rossi on the radio?

No. But Dunlap criticized Rossi the other morning, so he's okay now.Crankshaft wrote:This same station employees a meathead like Dunlap. Are you really shocked they would put Rossi on the radio?
