What songs should be on this list?
Purple Rain, 2112, Cemetery Gates, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, The Grudge, Trilogy Suite, Op. 5 (I was trashing Yngwie in the thread last week, but this song is nothing if not epic
), Pull Me Under (DT certainly has more 'epic' material, but that's still a fine song), Kashmir, Still Of The Night..............

Or you could just put on Operation: Mindcrime and call it a day.

I was wondering how Cemetry Gates ended up on that list until I realized it's not the song I was thinking of.

'Walk' in my favorite Pantera song, but I don't know that I'd call it epic.

Walk is Epic because the riff is so simple yet so awesome. Everything about the song just works to the nth degree.

Several greats in one concert. I could listen to that Dennis Brown song all day. I think he may be the best singer in all of reggae. I was first introduced to reggae by a fellow metalhead in 1990, btw, so it's been a while for me!

Yes. He's incredible. Too bad he died at 27, but he did leave a lot of great music behind.
wiki:
In March 1980, Jacob Miller went with Bob Marley and Chris Blackwell to Brazil, to celebrate Island opening new offices in South America. On Sunday, 23 March 1980, Miller was killed in a car accident on Hope Road in Kingston, Jamaica, along with one of his sons. Miller and Inner Circle had been preparing for an American tour with Bob Marley and the Wailers, and the next album, Mixed Up Moods, had been recorded before his death.

All this Marley and reggae talk, and no one even mentions he would have been 70 years old today!

I've watched this 3 times so far just for the reaction of the orchestra members. Their reactions ranging from really being into it to "who is this guy?"
