Re: Horror Movie Warz Game Thread
This feels like one of those cliche horror movie moments where the group makes a really stupid decision. So I say yes - let's open it.

Fwiw, as an independent last game, I said something similar to push the vig angle and avoid the independent angle.newarenanow wrote:BTW, just from reading the write up, it seems like the big shot canaan.
Don't shoot unless you are certain/close to certain.

Should they open and read the book?
Yes (dodint, redwill, columbia, BigMcK, MiMH, PFiDC, Crankshaft, MWB)
No (Doc)
The Book is Open and being read as we speak. Or as we type. Whatever. More details coming soon.

I'm waiting on a PM from one player. I doubt I'll hear anything until tomorrow. In case I don't hear from the player by 11am I'll random.org it.

Day 3 Write-Up
There's a ton of info here so don't skip this post!
After a horrendous night at Camp Crystal Lake, the camp counselors awoke tired, battered and in shock. Two of their Heroes had perished and they had no leads on who the Villains could be. Tensions were higher than ever before and with tempers bubbling over, they took out their frustrations on the easiest target.
shafnutz had always been an outsider. Socially awkward with odd religious inclinations, he never fit in, was never part of the clique. Occasionally they let him play their games, but in the end he was always the butt of the joke.
Today the Counselors decided the perfect way to get their minds off the recent tragedies that had befallen them was to pull a prank on good, old shafnutz. They told him that they wanted him to join them in a talent show. Skeptical at first, shafnutz was soon wooed into trusting them by the deamy football captain.
As shaf took the stage to show off his talent (which was yodeling while churning butter, in case you wondered), they dropped a bucket of pig's blood on his head.
Shaf turned red and so did his temper. They were all laughing at him. It was just like his mother warned. They'd never accept him. He would forever be the butt of their jokes.
"THEY'RE ALL GONNA LAUGH AT YOU" echoed through his head. And then his telekinetic powers exploded.
Shaf was
In an uncontrollable rage, Shaf sent a ball of telekinetic fire directly at...
Redwill screamed and flailed as the fire overtook him. As soon as the charred body hit the floor, Shaf fled camp and returned home where he killed him mother and then himself.
Shaf is dead.
The others moved toward redwill's corpse, ready to add it to the pile of bodies in the woods (which was really starting to smell), but suddenly redwill sat up.
"That'll wake you up in the morning!" He exclaimed as he brushed away the soot. Somehow, redwill was alive and unscathed except for the fact that his beard had been burned off. What could that mean? The camp counselors were more confused than ever.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
The Counselors decided to read the book of Necromancy. It was all written in ancient Aramaic so they don't know what they read but thanks to Hooked on Phonics they were able to sound it all out and something will probably happen.
It is now night 3.
14 players remain.
