I watch some old (50's early 60's) tv shows at work such which has actors that later became well known but were guesting as villains, victims etc. Nimoy was on several Sea Hunt episodes with Lloyd Bridges as well as Highway Patrol with Broderick Crawford. On HP he played a strong arm guy with a switchblade who was helping a labor racketeer strong arm railroad workers. Shatner was another who appeared on these shows starting out.

Holy f***. He could be cheesy at times, but that's ... that's damned profound. We live in a cynical age, but that knocked me out.

Yeah. I always think of the one where they're trapped in the town with the fortune telling diner mini-jukebox though.

Shatner was in the TV version and he was actually really good in that role. Better than Lithgow.

RIP Daniel Von Bargen. One of those names you probably don't recognize right off hand, but I guarantee you will probably recognize his face instantly. Most notable for Seinfeld, Malcolm in the Middle, and of course, Super Troopers.
Apparently he attempted suicide a few years back...sad.
