All kinds of craziness can occur under the cover of darkness, and tonight was no exception.

The Lanista's spies formulated a plan to eliminate a gladiator. Not just any gladiator, mind you, but the Champion, NANius. They feared his power and influence over the other gladiators and needed to silence him once and for all. They planned to kill him in his sleep.

However, another gladiator had a different plan, and at the last moment, convinced NANius to switch sleeping quarters with Gauchoius. The Lanista's muscle, not being able to tell the difference between NANius and Gauchoius in the blackness of the night, slit Gaucho's throat and hurried away.

Hockeynutus vs. dodintus

dodintus, fresh off his win over MWBus, was bright with confidence. Hockeynutus was a brave soul, but today was not his day.

dodintus was once again trained by the Doctore the previous day and swiftly took care of Hockeynutus in the arena. The fight started, dodintus came out with a three move combination and then a pause. The crowd quieted to a murmur and then, out of nowhere, Hockeynutus' head detached from his body and rolled on the sand.

Actually the way I take it is that the "Doctore" is the angel. That's his way of protecting dodint

I'm guessing he's the angel. And MIMHB has it in there that if the reds keep trying to kill him, he will win his battles and his power will go up. Which is good for us as long as he doesn't go controlling every vote and killing people he shouldn't like he did when he was the vig.

They might have preferred dodint be in power instead of NAN. Its more likely in my mind, however, that they just wanted to feel dodint out and see if his performance was a one time thing.

Gaucho was made a victim, they placed Hockeynut! In the ring to defend himself and chose dodint as challenger. That seems like super power.

I never noticed that those didn't foot to 8. Maybe tfrizz counted twice? Maybe it was someone else on that vote.

If I weren't me I'd vote for me too seeing as I've managed but a single prior post. But that's simply waste of a phase but better me gone than a green.
