Yeah I just dug out both our parking spots. About 45 minutes. If I was in Boston I'd probably shoot myself or just buy a flame thrower to remove the snow.

All Time Record Low for March of -2 at the airport.
I had -5 at a weather station right up the road from me.
Last gasp of Winter...I hope.

Re: The Weather Thread
Ended up with a hair over 10" of snow in Lancaster County, didn't really stop snowing until about 4 PM or so. Looks really nice outside now, the good news is it is supposed to be sunny and mild (40s and 50s) over the next week or so, so it won't be a catastrophic snow melt exacerbated by heavy rain.

For the first time since November, my 10 day calendar has highs above 35F every day and no precipitation forecast. I'm going to have to buy a lawnmower soon.

My car thought it would be a really good idea to not want to latch the drivers side door this morning. It was extremely fun driving 4 miles with my window half way down and holding the door till I got to my mechanic.

My son had his first little league practice on Wednesday. Sunny, 81F. His second practice, this afternoon, will be sunny 42F. Typical, but weird.

Literally overnight it went from the negatives to 50F and blazing sun. Too hot for snow tires. I'm like an F1 driver on full wets on a drying track, always looking for puddles to cool these things down.

We are two inches away from a record snow season. It is going to be so disappointing if we went through so much in the past 6 weeks, and don't even break the record. Seems like there is one more snow storm ahead of us, holding out hope it is 3 inches and no more. Then spring can come!

Don't hold your breath. Long range, the upper 40s - 50s seem to be the normal.obhave wrote:We are two inches away from a record snow season. I'll take highs in the 30's and 40's instead of the teens and 20's

Re: The Weather Thread
I didnt say mine sold...just that it should sell quick. It went on the market in mid/late January and as soon as it did the weather turned to crap. Market came to a screeching halt but it started picking back up last week. 4 total showing so far, 4 scheduled already for Saturday. Things are looking up...

Well, it was Gatlinburg in mid-July And I just hit town and my throat was dry, I thought I'd stop and have myself a brew.
