Chiefs give Maclin 5 years, 55 million, 22.5 guaranteed. Bad move for all parties involved.

We're dancing in the street. At least Smith can't use having no wideouts as an excuse.

Maclin isn't great, but he's not a bad player either. He's a #2 WR probably ideally.

He still can't chuck it more than 11.5 yards.

When healthy Maclin is a good #2 WR. The Chiefs just made him the 6th highest paid WR in the league exchange for Maclin giving up any possibility of receiving a half decent contract after this one. In three years he'll be a cap casualty with a total of 1,500 receiving yards and 1 touchdown during his time in Kansas City. Hope he likes catching 5 yard passes and being the decoy on plays run to tight ends and fullbacks.

Dwayne Bowe had a 5 year deal worth 55 million as well. I'd rather Maclin than D. Coasting Bowe.

Yea, the Chiefs did a hell of a job of recovering from that one. Cut Dwayne Bowe to make cap space to give essentially the same contract to a receiver with ONE 1,000 yard season in his six year career, allocating a ton of money to a position that their QB isn't talented enough to utilize.

That feels like an unwise use of money for Philly unless the plan is to get Dallas to panic.

That seems to be on the lower end of what I expected him to get. Looks to really be a 3-year deal from what I am seeing which take him through ages 27, 28, and 29.

Titans just re-signed Derrick Morgan and signed Brian Orakpo. Guess that "interest" in James Harrison just evaporated.
