49ers ILB Chris Borland has announced his retirement at the age of 24 due to concussion and safety concerns. Had 108 tackles in 14 games as a rookie last season.

Maybe Harbaugh was the glue holding that team together?

Is this real life?

So the replacement for Willis is now retiring. Bowman may not even come back at this point... looks like the 49ers will be drafting a few linebackers.

*sigh*

Who needs linebackers anyways? Just go college style and run a 4-2-5.

I mean I don't blame Borland for getting out. I just wish he could have come to this epiphany prior to FA starting so the 49ers would have had at least known their weak depth at LB would be come non-exsistent.

You go from Smith -- Bowman -- Willis -- Borland to Smith ----?????(who knows if Bowman is ready to come back) --- ???? -- ??????

Ugh.

We lost our two starting cornerbacks(Culliver and Cox) as well haha. Lots of young guys starting at CB/Safety.

Constant goal line formation? 7-1-3. 6-2-3. 6-1-4. So many options.

So hardy is apparently choosing between tampa and dallas. Cowboys would obviously look substantially better with him, but im not sure how i feel about them getting him. I would proba ly get over it if they did.

Schefty says: 1 yr, $11.3 mil (could reach $13.116 mil) with Dallas for Greg Hardy.

Well, this is just about the dumbest damn thing I've ever heard. What a waste of time even thinking of something like this.
Here's how the NFL describes Day 3 of the draft.

On Saturday, May 2 beginning at 12:00 p.m. ET, Rounds 4-7 will mark another Draft innovation. The event will take place outside at Selection Square and in locations across the country. Teams will announce their Draft selections at their facilities and other locations in their city.

For instance, if the Seahawks are holding a team draft party at the Space Needle, they could conceivably announce their pick from there
