Gary Oldman, Sean Penn and probably Denzel absolutely. But no mention of Samuel Jackson?

One of the better 80s movies, although part 2 was very very bad.

True, but not many movies start a dance fad... that still goes on 20 years later.

In a moment of extreme self hate I decided to watch the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. So so bad. There are moments of awesomeness, but they can make up for the other 90 minutes of complete suck. Megan Fox is as hot as usual but her acting is somehow worse than usual. Tying April O'Neil to the turtles is just weird. Shredder and The Foot have no real purpose. Above all the thing that bothered me the most was the CGI. When the turtles are in scenes with human actors the CGI looks pretty damn good, but when its a scene with all CGI characters, it might as well have been SyFY channel movie or a cartoon. Just trash. Stay away.

Interesting. I licensed Frogger stuff for that movie, but when we got script pages it was a very different story than what they're showing in the trailer.

No, it really isn't... at all... (although, the long one-shot along the beach is pretty awesome)

They got too corny. The first one was meant to be "fun" and it was. Quality, no... fun, yeah.

I'm with you there. On Stranger Tides was a nice refresh, though.

the tone of that series was very muddy. if you're going to be whimsical or absurd, you can't clumsily try to splice in real conflict. it doesn't work that way. but yes - the first was better than the rest.

I thought the first one was fantastic. It's fun and entertaining the entire way through and Depp gives a top notch performance.
