The recent Penguins' success may have precluded anyone from starting this thread, so I'll start one (my first ).
I really haven't been keeping up other than just getting the final scores and looking at the standings from my ESPN app. I hope that a poor record in spring training doesn't equate to the same in the regular season, but I'm a little concerned about their standings in the Grapefruit League right now. Have they been playing a bunch of rookies and scrubs or something?
Kang with two homers tonight in his first game back. Not sure if he would have been able to hit Arrieta last year but our chances certainly would have been better.
Nice to take the series against the Cards, but the downside is that the Cubs are running away with the division. Doesn't look like they are going to let up any time soon either.

Figures. But just stay ahead of the 2nd place team in the West and hope to beat the Mets or Nats in the WC play in and get lucky against the Cubs in a real series.
Cervelli signed a three year extension. Fantastic news. Now hope that Glasnow and Bell are ready mid summer and that's two holes filled. Should have a good idea where this team stands by August.
And he's sent back to Indy because of the Super 2 rule and we need delivers after playing a ton of innings the last two days.
Still doesn't keep people from freaking out saying it was a money move, it kind of is, but it's more of keeping a guy affordable longer be dallying arbitration like Marte, Cole and Polanco and all Bell and Glasnow when they get close. But a lot of fans don't understand this.
