Any Steelers fans still think they didn't get enough for AB?
He's had a bit of a rough training camp so far. I don't know which is funnier, frostbite on his feet through cryotherapy (ironic that a crybaby would do this)

or threatening to retire because he can't use the helmet of choice

You really can't make this stuff up.

AB is always talking about his brand. Dr Scholl's as a sponsor is on the horizon. Or if AB is considering microwave therapy, Hotpoint could step in.

And just released lololol. Raiders seem to think none of his guaranteed money is payable for breaking his contract. I sure hope they're right.

I honestly can't remember a sports player going from Hall of Fame shoo in to a punch line within a year. Sure there have been quick fall from graces, but usually because of a tragedy or something related to drugs. Nothing like this.ville5 wrote:And just released lololol. I sincerely thought he was going to be a threat to Jerry Rices' records a few years from now. Now I'm wondering if he'll be alive and free in a few years.

To Mike Tomlon's credit, he assisted greatly in making AB what he is today.

Talked to several Buffalo Bills fans today. They are alleging collusion between AB/Rosenhaus and the Patriots.

Should have taken the first rounder the Patriots were supposedly offering for AB.

Re: Any Steelers fans still think they didn't get enough for
If there is proven collusion, I hope the NFL has the guts to void ABs contract and discipline both him and the Patriots. Considering the Patriots were allowed to keep 6 Super Bowl rings with countless provable instances of cheating, I doubt the NFL will do anything. Integrity in sports used to mean something.Zarovich wrote:Should have taken the first rounder the Patriots were supposedly offering for AB.

Steelers are out. Raiders are out, as are the Patriots. That leaves 29 suckers ..... er ...... suitors. How 'bout them Browns? Of course, that would be after a possible suspension.

Best move the Steelers made this year was trading AB.

And ........ the worst move the Raiders made this year was trading for AB.
Curious as to what happens with this character next year. He's radioactive, but is suspect some teams will be willing to take a chance.

I really think the guy has early on-set CTE. He has been extremely volatile since he left Pittsburgh. There is clearly something wrong between his ears.Humperdink wrote:And ........ the worst move the Raiders made this year was trading for AB.
