Trotz fired
I sure didn't see that coming. He had one year left on his contract and got dismissed today by Lamoriello. Isles didn't make the playoffs as expected but had to go through some serious ordeals this season. Pretty bizarre move but LL is known for that when it comes to head coaches.

This really does seem like a stupid move. Trotz has always gotten away with getting good results from some overall lackluster rosters. Stevie Y should be on the phone right now.
