Seattle is currently tied for 4th in the Western Conference, 8th overall in the league and have a firm grasp on a playoff spot.
Not only that, but Seattle just became the 1st team in NHL history to sweep a road trip of at least 7 games. Not too shabby.

There is something to be said for taking a patient approach to building a team through the draft and making smart decisions on free agents instead of being ultra aggressive and throwing money at players left and right trying to win now (I'm looking at you, Vegas).

Is this a dig on Vegas?
