Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Someone was commenting on another site that Danny Smith is obsessed with directional punting and it looks like Harvin is just punting the ball now rather than thinking about it. I don't get it, you draft a punter rather than sign him and then you try to change the fundamentals that got him drafted.DelPen wrote:And Harvin **** nails it. I think we're starting to see the actual Harvin rather than the angle the ball then get criticized because that 2cm off center becomes a shanked punt.

Wait, this game against the Texans isn’t available in Toy Story mode?!

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Might as well be. Typical Tomlin not preparing for a game. Houston has a 3rd string LT and Kendrick Green at LG and the Steelers do nothing to stop the Texans from driving down the field. For once it would be nice to start playing at the beginning of the 1st quarter rather than thinking this is a well coached team that can ease into a game.Admin wrote: Sun Oct 01, 2023 1:07 pmWait, this game against the Texans isn’t available in Toy Story mode?!

They’ve been the best Steelers defense up to now.

Sure would be nice if Pickett led a receiver instead of throwing it behind them…

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
This is just a badly coached team on all levels. They aren’t prepared for the start of the game, offense is predictable, defense can’t stop the run or cover the middle of the field. The defense relies on big plays and until then will give up a ton of yards.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
How is that pass interference? Never obstructed the player and the ball was nowhere near the penalty.

One thing is for certain, Panthers made the wrong pick at #1.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
So, TE and LB engage each other when the ball is across the field is a pass interference but the back to the QB and hands on the helmet is okay?

Very questionable calls today.
Pickett missed Heyward in the end zone.

Half assed execution of a **** playbook will not score many TD’s.

When you are down by 10 you always take points since you need to score twice

Outside of splash plays, this is not a good defense.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
It’s almost like Canada designs the plays to throw the ball 5 feet short and no QB has the guts to run it correctly.
