Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Of course we need to burn a TO on the 2nd play of the game because the defense can’t make a proper substitution.

And the rookie QB is already making plays. Is that allowed?

And it didn’t matter, they inferred it was over which I didn’t think was allowed.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Only a Matt Canada offense will have the WR go beyond the players they’re supposed to block leaving the RB with 3 guys to tackle him. Sheesh.

Out of all the QB’s who started a game this year I don’t think Kenny cracks the top 45 out of 49.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
This defense without Minkah and both starting ILB’s is not going to win games like they were when everyone was healthy. Which means Pickett needs to not suck which is not reassuring.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I’m leaning more towards the bigger issue on the offense being Pickett than Canada, he should not look this horrible week in and week out. The only thing that’s still weird about this is Trubisky has looked just as bad and inept.
Should give Rudolph a chance before the end of the season.

3rd and 2. Running the ball well. Let’s call shotgun for a pass and take a sack.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
People ragging on Canada for that pass into quadruple coverage that didn’t pick up a first down. But Pickett needs to recognize when. not to run option A and he doesn’t.DelPen wrote: Sun Nov 19, 2023 1:57 pmI’m leaning more towards the bigger issue on the offense being Pickett than Canada, he should not look this horrible week in and week out. Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I don’t absolve Pickett for the horrible offense, I would just like to see how he does with a real OC. Even Big Ben looked bad in this offense, and like you mentioned Mitch and Kenny. Matt Canada is the common piece for 3 QBs looking bad. Now Kenny might look bad with any OC, but we don’t know and when you invest a 1st round pick on a QB, giving up on him when you know the OC sucks won’t be good for the franchise.DelPen wrote: Sun Nov 19, 2023 2:02 pmPeople ragging on Canada for that pass into quadruple coverage that didn’t pick up a first down. Kenny looked at one spot and threw despite that NEVER going to be a 1st down.

Didn’t think he got it until these last replays where he squirted through and made it way over.Daniel wrote: Sun Nov 19, 2023 3:06 pmThat looks like a gift spot for sure. Still a dumbass gamble.

Yeah, when I saw the other angles, I saw that. Can’t understand why they’d go for it though. Game is too close and a defensive game.

Another phantom roughing the passer call. He might as well have knocked him into next season.
