I did not have Carter AND Jarry on my bingo card tonightDelPen wrote: Thu Nov 30, 2023 8:14 pmGood shifts by the top 6 but we really need someone not named Crosby, Rust, Geuinztel or Geno to score a lot more.

Hopefully! I really like Nieto-Eller-Acciari as a line. Wonder if we will see more of that.

For real! I hope we’ll see that again this season, but I can’t be greedy.

With how rare goalie goals are at any level this has to be a first time that an organization had their NHL team and AHL team have goalies score not just even in the same season but in the same month, right?

What would have made it even better would be if Tampa scored another goal to give Jarry the game winner. I think that would have been the first time in history for a goalie with the game winning goal.

It would have been, all the scores were 2+ when they happened.Daniel wrote: Thu Nov 30, 2023 9:46 pmWhat would have made it even better would be if Tampa scored another goal to give Jarry the game winner. Probably, I didn’t look at the box scores. In theory they could have scored goals after the goalie score a goal.DelPen wrote: Thu Nov 30, 2023 9:52 pmIt would have been, all the scores were 2+ when they happened.Daniel wrote: Thu Nov 30, 2023 9:46 pmWhat would have made it even better would be if Tampa scored another goal to give Jarry the game winner. The center drive by Acciari created the space for Carter and the give and go. Didn’t really notice it during the game as much.

This is creepy, when Jarry scored for WBS it was the first for the franchise and he was the 14th goalie to do it in the AHL. Tonight he was again this first for the franchise and again the 14th goalie in the NHL to do it.

How many goalies have an AHL and NHL goal?DelPen wrote: Thu Nov 30, 2023 9:55 pmThis is creepy, when Jarry scored for WBS it was the first for the franchise and he was the 14th goalie to do it in the AHL. Seems like Nieto has been much more visible the last few games.

And yet it somehow seems that Carter scoring a goal tonight is actually even more unexpected and surprising than Jarry scoring a goal.

The history that Jarry set tonight would be so much more amazing if he adds a Stanley Cup victory as the cherry on top.
Ricky Rockit should ask what blade degree and tape he used to lay down a soft chip instead of a full wedge on his stick.

Couldnt watch the game, but TOI is a bit confusing..
Did Ludvig played with someone else later on D pair, Shea played half of his minutes almost?
And did Acciari and Nieto get some time with Eller, Harkins, Big Z with Carter? I would love to see that 3rd line more..

He played a number of shifts with Letang. Not sure if it was a reward for his play as much as just a result of Graves being in the doghouse and bumped down with Shea.Pens4Life wrote: Fri Dec 01, 2023 5:33 am

Wouldn't mind this being a full-time move to be honest. Ludvig looks like a gamer and I really love his game. Graves reminds me of a big ogre who just takes up space on the ice, all the while, getting in the way of his own teammates.Sigwolf wrote: Fri Dec 01, 2023 7:59 amHe played a number of shifts with Letang. In the 3rd Sully started rolling with Nieto-Eller-Acciari as a shutdown line. I would love to see a lot more of that line. Harkins and Z rode the pine most of the 3rd.Pens4Life wrote: Fri Dec 01, 2023 5:33 amCouldnt watch the game, but TOI is a bit confusing..

I think GMKD should look at moving POJ for a bottom 6 forward. With Shea and Ludvig progressing, PO doesn't have much of an opportunity, he also should have some value around the league. Rakell will be back eventually but we could use more depth, especially if Harkins and Z aren't long for the big club.
EDIT: Didn't realize Harkins was out because he blocked the shot with his hand at the end of the 2nd. That said, I still don't think he's here much longer.
