Nieto and Acciari out. What an interesting bottom 6.

Money line that third line gets a goal is +40,000. Fourth line is +50,000.

Seems to me that Eller would work better with Z and Vinnie

Carter scores a goal and gets rewarded with 3rd line duties? gimme a break! I would pencil anyone else in ahead of him.

Sullivan just can't help himself from being stupid. He had the centers swapped in practice today. But 1 goal in 16 games for Carter deserves more minutes...only in Sully's eyes.

No real threat from us….plenty of time in the zone but passing it around the perimeter couldn’t even lull the Flyers asleep. The league has seen this for decades.

All that passing and perimeter play just isn't the answer.Nothing at the net or anything to force the opposing Goaltender to have to deal with traffic in front of him.

Sully must love it, he refuses to address it. This is 100% on him.

Seems like Philly has played the Sullivan coached Penguins before. They know where we are going with the puck in all three zones and are anticipating every pass we make.

It’s like they have adopted the Foosball style of hockey. Just slapping the puck down the ice not towards any particular player.

He also seems to not chase a big hit and take himself out of the play.Zalapski33 wrote: Sat Dec 02, 2023 7:20 pmLudvig definitely brings physicality to the Blue Line.Strong Player.

Re: Official GDT: Pens vs Flyers 12/2/23
Having Carter on the 3rd Line is just a bad decision.Much better to go with Zohorna-Eller-Hinostroza IMHO.

Flyers are 0-9-2 when giving up first goal. Come on Sid.

Sully must think last night was a recipe for success, ignore the first period, save yourself for the second

Re: Official GDT: Pens vs Flyers 12/2/23
Why the whistle? For starters, the puck never actually crossed the blue line to come out. Then everyone tagged up anyways.

I get that the Flyers are funneling everything to the outside but 1 shot in 16 Minutes?
