So potentially all 4 starting linebackers out next week if Highsmith and Watt can’t play. Awesome. Colts and Texans could both pass us up this weekend and losing to the Colts next week could put the nail in the coffin of playoff hopes.
Honestly, the season is done if Mitch starts and one playoff game at best. 7-10 is a better draft pick than 9-8 and we’ll stop hearing about how Tomlin has never had a losing record. Because of the Steelers standards (Super Bowl or bust), Tomlin is winless since 2016. A lot like Sullivan (2017-18).
Clean out the entire coaching staff, see what the new staff wants to do with Pickett and go from there. Trade Tomlin to Carolina for a first? That goofy owner just might do that.
I think with Pickett this team is iffy for a playoff run but with Mitch I’d be surprised if they make the playoffs. I think Mason is between the two of them. I think they’d be better off losing out and getting a better draft pick than to make the playoffs and get blown out in the 1st round.
What the absolute **** is Kezee supposed to do there. If the pass was on target and the WR didn’t leap forward for it then Kezee is hitting him clean in the chest. That’s on Minchew and Pittman.
This team has all sorts of problems, but holy crap Mitch has to be the worst backup QB I can remember in ages. Would Mason Rudolph really be any worse? Hell, call up Charlie Batch if this is the level of play we're gonna get.
Pathetic team is pathetic. Come on 7-10! Get one way tickets out of town for Tomlin and Sully on the same bus.
I think the team has too much talent to be this bad. What should be at least a 10-4 or 11-3 team is on the verge of last place in the division. Even with the injuries this team should be better.
The Steelers and Penguins have a lot in common, but specifically bad coaching with stale schemes.
44 points? LOLOLOLOL. DelPen going for the funnee.
It would be something if Rudolph comes in and plays extremely better than Pickett and Trubiski have. That would be hilarious. Not holding my breath tho.

I hope he does play better. I think he was starting to improve before the Thomas hit and hasn't really had a chance since. I'd have rather seen what the team had in Rudolph before drafting a new QB. I think Pickett is an NFL caliber QB, but not a Super Bowl winning caliber QB. The Andy Dalton comparisons are pretty accurate.
