The women officials on the sideline have been especially bad at everything. Yes, I said it. And it’s true.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
This defense having two INT’s considering who is out is more improbable than Rudolph’s performance today so far.

I've always liked Rudolph and thought he'd have been better with more opportunity. He played like a rookie when he replaced Ben then got hurt when he was coming around.DelPen wrote: Sat Dec 23, 2023 5:24 pmThis defense having two INT’s considering who is out is more improbable than Rudolph’s performance today so far.
He's not perfect but I'd rather him over Pickett. He's a good rhythm passer with a nice deep throw.

The practice squad is helping Tomlin keep his job.

I think Tomlin has lost the locker room like the other Teflon Mike.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Apparently your QB is allowed to look at more than one person before throwing a ball. I was not aware that this was allowed.

Doesn’t seem fair for the defense.DelPen wrote: Sat Dec 23, 2023 5:39 pmApparently your QB is allowed to look at more than one person before throwing a ball. I was not aware that this was allowed.

Imagine what would have happened had Rudolph been playing over Trubisky the previous 3 games.

A high priority either at the draft or free agency has to be a center. Cole is atrocious. Should put Mitch back in so we can pick closer to 10 than 20.

Imagine if Rudolph played the last two years over Pickett and Trubisky. If he does bad they're in line for Stroud but I think the offense is way better.DelPen wrote: Sat Dec 23, 2023 5:41 pmImagine what would have happened had Rudolph been playing over Trubisky the previous 3 games.

Steelers probably win 2 of the last 3 with Rudolph playing.Daniel wrote: Sat Dec 23, 2023 5:48 pmImagine if Rudolph played the last two years over Pickett and Trubisky. Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
So this is how the plays should had been called with Pickens on the team the last two years. Or maybe they were and the other guys can’t throw this far or just never looked at anyone else than the primary receiver?

Man Rudolph throws as good a deep ball as anyone. Other than misjudging Austin's speed he's been dead on.

Kenny and Mitch scramble and run better but Mason is better at everything else.DelPen wrote: Sat Dec 23, 2023 6:20 pmSo this is how the plays should had been called with Pickens on the team the last two years. Do they? Based on this game they sure don’t.Daniel wrote: Sat Dec 23, 2023 6:22 pmKenny and Mitch scramble and run better but Mason is better at everything else.DelPen wrote: Sat Dec 23, 2023 6:20 pmSo this is how the plays should had been called with Pickens on the team the last two years. I think they have more mobility but it's not like they're Lamar Jackson and Rudolph is a statue. He has better pocket awareness and rarely needs to run.DelPen wrote: Sat Dec 23, 2023 6:24 pmDo they? Talking about the lack of leadership on the offense earlier, Jones looks like he is going to fill that void.

I think he can. He just seems like an adult which is what the offense needs.DelPen wrote: Sat Dec 23, 2023 6:33 pmTalking about the lack of leadership on the offense earlier, Jones looks like he is going to fill that void.
