Re: 23-24 Penguins Injury Thread
We need to continue to lose and to allow the younger players to get more playing time. All I want now is for Crosby to get his points and us to get a better draft pick. I would love a lottery pick this year. Call up the youngsters and let the old farts ride the pine.

Agreed! Time to give Carter a few games off and allow someone younger to give it a shot.

Ryan Graves diagnosed with a concussion. Rumor has it, the concussion was received in September.

I guess it's still the 23-24 season so...
So it was Letang's finger that was the big injury?

Penguins will likely need to go out and acquire 1 or 2 bottom pairing defensemen. Their RD depth in the AHL is very thin. With Ludvig out, that puts the LD depth a little thin, too. I expect Ryan Shea to be back, as word is Shea was someone Sullivan tried to target a few years ago.KG wrote: Wed May 15, 2024 12:30 pmI guess it's still the 23-24 season so...

I was hoping we could dump Nieto or bury him in the minors this season. I guess in a way he's taken himself out of the equation for at least half the season with this injury/surgery.

For the AHL, just get a plugger. Some UDFA will do fine.
Disappointing Rossi (Rosie?) can't even spell Ludvig. I wonder which account he has on this forum

I head that Letang had multiple injuries. The finger may not be the most serious of those. Not sure on the validity of that, though.KG wrote: Wed May 15, 2024 12:30 pmI guess it's still the 23-24 season so...
