So the news is that he doesn’t know anything more than the casual fan? Sounds about right.

Liljegren not getting a QO...because he signed a 2 year, 3M AAV deal with Toronto.

Re: Random Penguins Fodder
Seems pricey. And Utah just re-signed Durzi. 4 years $24mill. $6mill AAV. That's too much. Maybe we should sell high on MP before we lock him into something we might regret in a couple of seasons.FLPensFan wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 4:56 pmLiljegren not getting a QO...because he signed a 2 year, 3M AAV deal with Toronto.

Some intriguing names out there league wide that did not get qualified. Still no word on POJ.

Not sure why they wouldn’t sign him. He is young, cheap and played top pairing minutes at the end of the year. What is going on???

A lot of young guys not qualified. Maybe some names the Penguins should take a chance on...

I would like to sign Comtois on the cheap. What can it hurt, if he doesn't make the roster send him down.

He had every right to be a mercenary, but no right to pretend otherwise. If you want to chase the money, own it. The "I guess I wasn't wanted" act was ludicrous and reflects very poorly on him.

Would take him. Dubas draft pick. Fits the mold of what we're looking to do.

Haven’t seen him play, what is the draw to him? 5’9” 178 lbs, he has a total 34 Pts in 87 GP, and 1 playoff point in 10 GP.KG wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 9:14 pm

Under used in TO? Lots of speed to fit the system? Anything that helps the team out is worth taking a chance on.

2nd round pick of Dubas. Young player with skill, potential. Wouldn't cost much to acquire. I'm sure Toronto will trade him elsewhere though.SteelCityFan wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 9:21 pmHaven’t seen him play, what is the draw to him? 5’9” 178 lbs, he has a total 34 Pts in 87 GP, and 1 playoff point in 10 GP.KG wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 9:14 pm

Would be great if the league actually enforced that teams can't talk to players until noon tomorrow....

List of RFA's that didn't receive qualifying offers. Not seeing Bemstrom. Guess we qualified him. Meh either way on him. He's AHL fodder.

This^^^. I couldn’t agree more! If he really wanted to be here, he could have came back. I really don’t blame him, as we’re on the decline, but don’t act like you wanted to be here.Sigwolf wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 9:14 pmHe had every right to be a mercenary, but no right to pretend otherwise.
