Seriously though, on the UFA market there is slim pickins for top 6 wings. Skinner, Tarasenko, Roslovic??

Really hope this isn't it! DOC needs to be on 3rd line so we can have some offense spread throughout the lineup.

Re: Random Penguins Fodder
Guys I see left currently that have top 9/middle 6 potential in UFA are Skinner, Roslovic, Henrique.
Minus a trade, do you offer sheet someone like Mercer, Byfield, Necas, Lundell, Beniers?

Maybe Tarasenko? Who knows. I highly doubt he will want to come here.Pruezy11881 wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 3:24 pmGuys I see left currently that have top 9/middle 6 potential in UFA are Skinner, Roslovic, Henrique.

One thing I'd look into is maybe trying to get a forward from the Avs to help them with their rough cap situation they currently are in. We could give up something cheap and take on little more cash?

I don't believe he has any desire to leave FLA. Big Russian community down there, and I also believe he normally lives there in the offseason prior to joining the Panthers. FPF can confirm that though.KG wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 3:28 pmMaybe Tarasenko? Who knows. Why would anyone who doesn't suck want to come to the Pens?

Looks like Bemstrom back at 775k for one year, per Puck Pedia.

I still think we need another middle-six winger. Someone who can score 15-20 goals.

I'm happy to see this. Not going to set the world on fire but the kid liked to shoot the puck, a quality needed on a team that likes to pass too much.

Edmonton is trying to move Evander Kane. 2 years left on his deal. Fits the timeframe of what Dubas is trying to do. Edmonton would have to trade some good assets to get rid of him.

Oddly enough, I'd be open to Kane—with a sweetner or retention. There's enough veteran leadership here to keep him in line and get some production out of him. It would be the last stop in his NHL career.

9.6 total - 3.2 mil/yr. Pretty good value for him.

Wait, sorry, you are correct. The suck comes along with them like a used puck bag.
Maybe the plan is to suck even more so Sullivan bails sooner than later.

Pens sign Blake Lizotte.
He's a solid bottom 6 center. Someone has to be going out? Eller? Acciari?
