Yet someone throws their helmet and gets no penalty.DelPen wrote: Sun Sep 15, 2024 7:02 pmDon’t you need to actually go into the neutral zone to get an infraction? I guess not. These refs are horrible today.

Kazee was ejected and suspended for the same thing last year but Locke doesn’t even get the extra penalty for taking his helmet off while on the field and throwing it down.

I guess Fields does not want to remain starter when Wilson is healthy.

I don’t think Boswell has 10 60 yard FG’s in him today.

Missed sack goes to a missed INT with enough time to try to get a FG. Hope that doesn’t end up costing us.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
That TO wasted because Jackson decided to not even try to get off the field hurt a bit. Being able to throw to the middle on 3rd getting a little bit closer would had been nice. And another missed sack almost ends up giving them a Hail Mary TD.
Hopefully their TD was the one bad drive this defense has always given up per game. Offense has been getting better, need a TD drive to open up the 2nd half though.

I thought Roman Wilson was going to be available today and he would have helped a bit.

Out of bounds should be 10 yards if that player is the first make contact or closest person to a fair catch. That was returnable if not for the guy who went out of bounds to get in his face to force the fair catch.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I know Patterson isn’t a WR but he’s had a whiff for a 1st down on the opening 2nd half drive, lined up off the line to negate a 1st down same drive and then on the 2nd drive let a ball bounce off him for an INT. You can’t tell me Roman Wilson would not be more valuable than he is today.DelPen wrote: Sun Sep 22, 2024 2:46 pmI thought Roman Wilson was going to be available today and he would have helped a bit.

Two illegal formation penalties in one **** quarter. Players have to not be stupid but that’s instilled in practice I assume at every **** level from Pop Warner and up. That’s a coaching issue.

Anyone have bet that Johnson would have more TD’s than Pickens after three games?

Power went out Friday morning and just came back on and the first thing I get to see is Indy embarrassing the defense.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Fields looks like garbage again but so does the entire team and I’m not sure what would be different if Russel Wilson was in instead.
Fields looked like trash early every game and got better as the game went on but he needs to do something or Russel will be playing. I also have to laugh at everyone saying this team was for real. Maybe they are but after a 3-0 start some were planning a Super Bowl parade. Not anyone here but definitely more than a few on the internets.
But why is Roman still not playing? Having another deep option would be nice to have.

This is really typical of a Tomlin team. Offense joins the game in the 2nd quarter and hopefully the defense starts on time.DelPen wrote: Sun Sep 29, 2024 1:59 pmFields looks like garbage again but so does the entire team and I’m not sure what would be different if Russel Wilson was in instead.

And also, what team gets a holding penalty on a fair catch. This team is just flat.

You think it might be a good idea to block the edge rushers? Maybe just once?

Arm clearly down on the ground while holding the ball when touched but that’s a fumble? Ok I guess.

Wow, imagine that, block the rushers, get a TD. Funny how that works.
