If you keep the defense away from splash plays they’re very mediocre.DelPen wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2024 9:56 pmI don’t know who I am disappointed in more, the offense or defense.

Well that last series definitely made deciding who is the most disappointing tonight a lot easier.

Wow Austin. We actually have nothing to complain about for a few minutes.

Was there running into the kicker or did he take a dive?

LOL Giants head coach’s post-game presser should be interesting.

Looked like our guy was on the ground and the punter landed on him and fell on his own. Don’t think that’s a penalty.

Art must have bet on the spread to be sending these plays in.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
That and the Jefferson throws show how limited WIlson’s arm is.
That said, Jefferson is trying to make the Steelers not need a WR2, granted they still need a WR but that was a really nice catch.

Austin needs a TD off a sweep now to get whatever the NFL equivalent is to a Gordie Howe HT.

I warming up to the idea that Fields takes the snaps in the red zone because Wilson has been not good.

Man Russell Wilson is very slow. Perhaps we could put skates on him and put him at defense for the Pens.

That's good, we didn't hear his name at all yet he had 3 tackles.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
The only thing worse than that red zone offense was the run defense. A competent opponent and coach, we lose that game by multiple touchdowns.
How bad are the Giants? All of those offensive penalties, that 2 point play call...I know they want stability, but Daboll looks way out of his depth and it's his 3rd? season?

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I like the trade, for the value. They had 2 5th round picks so why not. I don't think Williams is better as much as he makes others better. Can you imagine Williams clearing out space for Austin to just run? Or Pickens having more freedom to do his thing?
I think Austin will be a legit WR2 but his size isn't optimal. Having a 3rd big WR will allow him to sneak off the line with less resistance.
