Having Winston outplay Wilson is interesting. But that really looked like delay of game.

Standard Tomlin game versus a scrub team. Outcoached and thinks skill is enough.DelPen wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2024 10:20 pmHaving Winston outplay Wilson is interesting. But that really looked like delay of game.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
If Fields can learn from Wilson and be as good a passer and decision maker, FIelds can be an All Pro. Fields is just a typical athletic QB who never really learns how to pass. I think with Wilson’s help and Smith’s coaching, Fields can be a franchise QB for the Steelers.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Pretty much. Jackson had to learn how to be a QB and has greatly improved as a passer. Not sure if Fields can be that good, but the skill is there. Jackson was a lot like Fields at that age.DelPen wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2024 10:39 pmIt’s like you are describing Lamar Jackson.Daniel wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2024 10:38 pmIf Fields can learn from Wilson and be as good a passer and decision maker, FIelds can be an All Pro. They brought in Fields to open things up and push Wilson.

Took 1 minute off the clock and gave them ball back right where they had it before.

Wasted a time out as usual. Now they get a first down and run the clock down and walk it off with a chip shot.
