And unless there’s a pick-6 here this game is over, just in time for the Pens.

Russ chose the right read but there wasn’t a single person between 5-10 yards. I don’t know who I’m pissed at more, Tomlin or Smith. Tomlin sucks overall though.

The fact that every offense has looked like this for a long time unless Ben decided to take over a game tells me it’s a lot more Tomlin.

Tomlin is the most overrated coach in sports.DelPen wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2024 6:57 pmThe fact that every offense has looked like this for a long time unless Ben decided to take over a game tells me it’s a lot more Tomlin.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
The NFL is so intolerant of taunting yet Humphrys can put the ball in the face of a player as he’s running into the end zone? That might have been a worthwhile cheap shot by the Steeler.

That is 100% on Russ. 14 point swing from the fumble and then that. Horrible game.

I don’t care how far down in depth Bishop is, a professional player can’t look like that.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Well, maybe they’ll win a game as the wlld card, but I doubt it. Same old Mediocre Mike season, get to 9 wins, maybe make the playoffs, not prepared for big games. Yes the secondary is down players, but they should be better than this game. All phases of the game have sucked.

Perfect end to a horrible day for the special teams having two players closest to that muffed punt and not getting the ball.

Houston has some incentive at least to beat Baltimore so they have a tie breaker over them potentially to not be the lowest wild card and also gain ground on us to be the same. I’d rather play SD or Denver than Pittsburgh or Baltimore. And if Buffalo loses their next game the Chiefs have nothing else to play for so I could see them rest some people on Christmas if anyone is at all banged up because you would think the Steelers would be playing really hard next game.

Sorry, my powers can only work on inconsequential nonsense exasperated by the gross incompetence of Pittsburgh coaches.

Still not sure about how dominant Lamar was on Saturday. His numbers and Wilson’s were similar, but his fumble was recovered by his own team and his bad pass interception wasn’t returned for a touchdown.
Betting almost every quarterback in the league would have a nice day statistically with a secondary of Kazee, Pierre and Trice instead of Porter, Elliott and Jackson.
Even Henry’s monster game was impacted by the linebackers bailing out the secondary.

They stopped Jackson and let Henry and Russ beat them.Southern Fan wrote: Mon Dec 23, 2024 10:59 amStill not sure about how dominant Lamar was on Saturday.
