In very similar situations the two teams, except one organization made smart and tough moves based on intelligence instead of emotion and brought in quality coaching and the other organization...well, did exactly the opposite in every way.

Kind of, they had old players on bad contracts stop playing to negate cap hits and were able to take a chance on other bad contracts but younger players to replace them. But they seemed to have drafted a lot better and that’s one big difference.
