Most players surge when they get new surroundings. Not really reading anything into the acquisitions yet but we'll see if they keep it up. Just like Cody Glass suddenly being dynamic in nj.

Glass was just asked what has been a reason why you're doing so well in Jersey. He said systems have been great, coaches have been great.
Sorry Glass

Little dig by glass there? Saying about NJ, coaching has been great, system has been great.
Beat me to it by like 10 seconds
Funny how players seem to often leave and then either indirectly or occasionally, directly complain about the coaching and system here. Funny how the players that seem most invested in keeping status quo are the super stars and the cup winners who are treated special. Like Mario all over again... seems like the best talent basically always want a leadership regime that lets them do whatever and they get special treatment, results be damned. Funny that the argument some make that Crosby or malkin etc are good reasons to hold onto Sullivan... like arguing the country club was good for the organization in the Mario days.

I hate how players get media training to provide cookie cutter answers, making sure not to tip over any apple carts. I actually prefer players be a-holes if they speak their minds, over the speaking a lot, saying nothing cultureAntonio wrote: Sat Mar 15, 2025 3:58 pmLittle dig by glass there? That attempted clear by Graves about 30 seconds into the kill was just painful to watch.

Rakell buries it from the slot after a terrific feed from Sid.
Nice determination on that shift by Ricard.
Sid gets another point.

Some good saves by Jarry, has to be said.
Don't like how he's moving as much as he does, taking a long time to recover to ---
Oh forget it, Ricky!

Thankfully there isn’t a consensus generational talent in this draft, or so I’ve heard. Seems like we might miss out on a Hischer type player if we keep winning.

Can't believe they couldn't get a good return they were happy with for Rakell

It will be interesting to see how next years free agent forward that gets a 3 year $15 million deal compares to him.Antonio wrote: Sat Mar 15, 2025 4:20 pmCan't believe they couldn't get a good return they were happy with for Rakell

Jarry with so many strong stops in this Game.
Graves got put out on the highway with his usual ineptitude on that move by Noesen but Jarry bailed him out.
