It seemed that Bolts watched an half an hour video of Pens D before the game and exploit to the max lol.. no physicality (EK at first goal, standing there like scared girl), bad coverages, wide offensive passes on tight box defense, quick transitions thru the middle.. just bad defense! Sure, you can blame Jarry for 1 softy, but overall he was out there on island to get blasted. Ned was the same, but Bolts then took the foot off the gas pedal and he didnt suffer than much anymore.

But Sid got his point, ok.. now they need to lose 2 more in next 3 games at least and they will lose motivation and we get better pick.

I mean, in all honesty, besides your top line, Letang and Karlsson...who else does Mike Sullivan expect better performances from? This is a hodge podge of misfit toys throughout most of the rest of the lineup. There is nobody in the bottom 9 of last night's roster who is a "take over the game" type of player. Heinen, Tomasino, Dewar, Lizotte, Acciari, Bemstrom, Koppanen, and Imama are the definition of inconsistency. The hope is that maybe guys like Tomasino and Lizotte show up a little more, but, that can always be derailed by Sullivan banishing them for a mistake or blowing up their minutes when they appear to be playing well.

Tomasino and Lizotte are the two I would mention as well. I think they might be really good on a permanent 3rd line. Also want to see what Novak is capable of. Stinks he was injured so soon.
