I've been meaning to ask this question for a few years but, does anyone know whatever happened to Jim? Didn't know if anyone was friends with him in real life, but he went dark on this board in November of 2021. Thought maybe he just moved off the board, but, he went dark on the "other board" at the same time.
Didn't know if he suddenly passed away or something, but it was kind of odd for him to disappear and not resurface, with how vocal a poster he was.

Re: Past member question: Jim
I did a deep internet dive looking for him a few years ago. Thankfully no obits found. I found an address and phone that likely were his, but never had the nerve to cold call someone that was just a message board acquaintance.
I also found a facebook page that I believe was his that did not have any posts past 2016. However, checking it again shows new posts in mid-2023 through late 2024. Nothing Pens related in the new posts, so I don't know if he gave up on the team or just sports in general. If I found the right Jim, it would appear that he is still with us, at least. Maybe some day he will find his way back here.

Thanks, Sigwolf. I do recall a few years ago that someone found what they thought was his Facebook page, based off a small movie that was done by someone on the board at the time. Jim had a roll in the movie and someone traced that back to his facebook page.

I've been curious about him also and thought maybe he died. Doubt he'd give up, he's been on this board since the 90s though he could have found other places to post, like Bowser, Netwolf, Dagny, etc. Kinda miss his snark.FLPensFan wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 9:45 pmI've been meaning to ask this question for a few years but, does anyone know whatever happened to Jim? His last login was January 20, 2022.
I'll send him an e-mail and see if I get a response.

Just heard back. He's doing well but decided a while back to quit boards.
